If you peek in the window to my home, you might see my head spinning around and steam coming out of my ears. Don't worry. Everything (ahem, everyone) will be ok.
In a few weeks, that is.
After VBS is over. You see, I have VBS PMS. A pretty good case of it too. The lab coats are unavailable, the snack coordinator didn't realize she had other committments that week, and the sets aren't even beginning to look ready. My three year old wasn't much help in painting the beakers bright colors, but he did a great job getting his shirt bright.
Only a week left and the panic is starting to rise. Why did I say I would coordinate this? I mean, sure I could teach, but be in charge of EVERYTHING (read: get blamed when things blow up that aren't supposed to).
Oh dear.
I'd try to get out of it, but I think it's too late. Why did I sign up for this in the first place? Oh yeah, that's right. Because God asked me to. Bummer, can't get out of it now! :)
Don't worry about me.
Worry about everyone else!

And yes, April is right, God will pull it all together. When we feel our weakest that's when He can do His best work!
I am sure the kids will love it and will learn a deeper side of Jesus!

Have a great VBS week!
Breathe your life in her.
Let her rest in your embrace.
Carry her worries for her.
Provide for all that you see is needed for VBS.
Let her lay down her expectations and follow you to that which You see is important.
Pour out an extra measure of grace.
Bring others to help carry the load.
Pour your love on her, over her, abundantly flowing through her.
Come, Lord Jesus, Come, Your strength, Your rest, Your purposes, Your plans...
I have learned so much about the words that were spoken that I misinterpreted. God is an amazing healer.
Hugs,
Julie

His strength is perfect when our strength is gone, he'll carry us when we can't carry on, great is His power, the weak become strong, His strength is perfect...His strength is perfect(notice I am not scared to sing on a blog!!)ha ha
