I love....

“Sing praises to the Lord, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name.” ~ Psalm 30:4 (ESV)
I love sunsets and sunrises. I love the smell of bread in the oven. I love cinnamon. I love hot mint tea. I love worship music which brings me right to the throne room of heaven. I love lazy days at the lake. I love fried fish and veggies fresh from the garden. I love sitting in the sunshine. I love cheese (on just about anything!) I love having coffee with a friend. I love those moments when the Holy Spirit makes His presence so obvious. I love the cleansing feeling of a good cry. I love my morning coffee. I love the silence of the house before dawn. I love the crackle of a fire. I love cozy homemade quilts. I love to snuggle in a corner and read a good book. I love it when Scripture comes alive and jumps off the page at me. I love Jesus. I love my friends.

I love to dance (when no one is looking). I love soft inspirational music. I love toe tapping, beat throbbing music that makes my body involuntarily move! I love Riverdance. I love walks in the spring. I love the chirping of birds in the morning. I love to hear the geese honking overhead and see their v-shaped harmony. I love to stumble upon a deer. I love osprey soaring above my head. I love giant eagles perching near my home. I love black and white kitties chasing grasshoppers. I love bunnies hopping away. I love looking out across a field of corn to the woods. I love the powdered snow upon our spruces. I love lilacs. I love apple blossoms. I love soft grass between my toes. I love crickets singing at night. I love lightning bugs. I love gazing at the stars.

I love peanut butter princesses. I love bouncy tiggers. I love growling lions pouncing on me from behind the curtains. I love tickle fights. I love to be surprised. I love to make birthday cakes in the shape of castles, dolls, Winnie the Pooh, snowmen, or hearts. I love little girl tea parties. I love to play card games. I love to read my favorite stories to my kids. I love acting out Bible stories. I love little girl Mary’s and little boy kings. I love pigtails and dresses. I love dress up time. I love imagination. I love tree climbers. I love little monkeys. I love sand castles. I love mud pies. I love 2 ft. tall gardeners. I love it when my boy snuggles up with a zucchini. I love milk mustaches. I love smiley face pancakes. I love school days.

I love holidays. I love turkeys in the oven and stuffing on the side. I love apple pie and ice cream. I love to create cookie masterpieces. I love family sitting around the dinner table together. I love the suspense of waiting for Christmas. I love to buy presents. I love to open presents too! I love Christmas trees. I love decorating. I love apple cider. I love hot chocolate with whipped cream. I love Christmas lights. I love Christmas music. I love snowmen. I love snow angels. I love the northern lights.

I love the mountains. I love the smell of pine. I love to hear the crunch of leaves beneath my feet. I love the golden colors of autumn. I love the smell after the rain. I love blue skies and bright sunshine. I love cool weather. I love vacations. I love omelets and muffins and scones and breakfast! I love lazy mornings. I love encouraging notes. I love to laugh out loud. I love to crank up the music when I drive by myself. I love making new friends. I love to reconnect with old friends. I love the power of prayer. I love a baby’s smile. I love parades. I love plays. I love concerts. I love my husband.
I love YOU Lord most of all. Thank for these many gifts you have given me.

I was inspired by the 1,000 gift list from last year, Angie and John Eldredge (Waking the Dead)to write this list of 100 things I love - things I'm thankful for and things that are gifts from God to my heart. Visit Iris for more Thankful Thursdays.

What a great post. I have to admit I love everything you love too, minus the suspense of Christmas (as I am not a fan of surprises).

Thanks for stopping by yesterday, and for your help.

Blessings!

I have seen this done on other blogs. There were of course several things that I noticed I loved too. God is so much better to us than we give Him credit for every day.

Oh my goodness - we love so many of the same things! I love the beach, lake - any water really! I could just about have written that list! Just a few exceptions - I am NOT a mountain girl - never learned to appreciate the cooler weather.

Wow - what an incredible list. I have never finished my 1,000 gifts list...I think I should pick it up where I left off. Thank you for the reminder :).

I enjoyed reading your list -- I think we would get along IRL as well, because I love many items on your list.

Thank you so much for sharing your grateful heart with us this week.

Be blessed today and always.
