Weird, I know. But, as I've grown closer to Jesus, He no longer lets me enjoy it. He's all about teaching me to slow down and have {gulp}...patience.

By the way, thanks for the tip about the "Compose" tab. I had no idea that there were two different tabs. I thought you were using some high tech HTML to do that. We were headed down as a youth group to the Kalahari in WI Dells a few years ago, and we had a pretty delapitated bus. The title of the bus across the back was "Carpenter". I was following the bus down on the interstate and the highest speed he could go was 55. As I kept pace with the bus, the cars zoomed past us (@70mph) & I got to thinking that when we follow "the Carpenter" our pace is quite different than the world around us. We go at His pace. And it's OKAY. It felt pretty profound to me at the time:-)
Blessings, KathyKathy Schwankehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16575973280157910643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-368490303016494231.post-85519882438954619232008-02-05T13:39:00.000-06:002008-02-05T13:39:00.000-06:00I am so guilty. Who we meet along the way, and who joins us.

Wow, great thoughts, Heather! It seems that when stuck in traffic or getting kids ready at the last minute, is the only time the heart gets bumping and the adrenaline is going when that is time that can be focused on them and on God instead..

How many times have we spent trapped in traffic and instead using that time to reflect on God or say a prayer, instead we get caught up in the upset of the world?

Great post! Lol...I think moms can closer identify the need for patience then others can! Loltwinklemomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00120498999037303181noreply@blogger.com
